Another Giveaway with Swiss Cheese Theory of Life Begins Now - USA & CANADA

The Swiss Cheese Theory of Life
Did you know that the larger the holes in Swiss Cheese,
the sweeter and tastier the cheese?!

I had the chance to review a Great Book this week.  A Self Help book entitled The Swiss Cheese Theory of Life.  This book is a no nonsense look at your life in a humorous yet seriously healthy way.

What I love love love is the fact that this book is not so dry and unreadable.  I do love reading self help books but at times these self help books take them selves too seriously and it becomes hard to read.  Ever read a self help book about your life that you truly enjoyed without getting stuck in your own seriousness?  Often times Self Help books will leave you depressed in their own right and you get stuck mid sentence thinking, feeling and becoming disengaged from the book itself.  This book is light-hearted and humorous enough to keep you engaged and on track.  This book teaches you just that not to get all caught up in life's holes and seriousness and how to learn and grow from your mistakes without getting stuck in them.

I absolutely love the metaphors that are used throughout this book.  One that is used often is How to get through life's holes without getting stuck in them.  The Swiss Cheese Theory of Life helps us make peace with the disappointments and unrealized expectations in life.

Throughout the book as you laugh and have those UH UH yep that's me moments you will have Mentors and Metaphors to help you along the way.

Swiss is not like any other cheese and likewise,
You are unique and not like anyone else.

Let me introduce you too some of the books characters to help you on your journey of self discovery and get your out of your life's holes.

Character 1
The Swiss Wiz

Character 2

You have your mentor The Swiss Whiz.
He will guide you through your book journey teaching you about the slices of life and how to not get caught up in the holes.
The Swiss Cheese Fairy

Character 3

The Swiss Cheese Fairy
She will be there to remind you of your Inner Strengths and teach you Self-Love and Acceptance.

Stinky Cheese

The Stinky Cheese is simply just there to remind you of your unhealthy habits, thoughts and moments in life.

My Wrap up on this book.  I absolutely loved it.  I was kept engaged and totally felt like this book related to my life. We all get stuck in life's holes, and don't always see them in a light hearted way.  I loved it so much I am now working on a list of things for 2012 that I want too get over and feel better about.

To the Authors I want to thank you for helping me get through a book without getting depressed, anxious and feeling blah.   I know its OK to have these life holes and take them more like a grain of salt than a big block of stinky cheese.

With all of that being said I have Great News for you all.  1 of my Readers is going to win a copy of this book so that you too can enjoy your Slice of Life.

This book sounds great. I tend to be a perfectionist and sometimes get caught looking at the holes, rather than the cheese. This book sounds like it would be great for me.

I have to admit, I have a tendency to avoid self-help books for the very reasons you described about how they often leave you feeling. I am working very hard at trying to keep myself positive and this seems like a great book to read. Everyone should see the humor in life... even if it's only to laugh at ourselves :)

But, I heard someone in the grocery store talking about it last week and thought to myself that maybe it's time I did as well. Then I came across your giveaway, so here I am... ;-)
