I work at conferences where I frequently have to run between rooms to check on speakers, and often they need a presentation because they forgot or lost THEIR USB drive or whatever. Sometimes I have mine in my pocket (where I carry ALL of the conference presentations), but sometimes I lay it down in the staff office and forget to pick it back up before I take off. I'd LOVE to have one of these to just WEAR - I think it would reduce the likelihood of not having it when I need it in a high-pressure situation.

I find that usb sticks can damage a usb port being they are rigid and project outward, so having it on a tether would get rid of that problem

I lose my USB sticks ALL THE TIME. It's become problematic. If I can't use this, my roommate can; she only ever knows where hers is because it's attached to about 50 keys!
I swear mine grow legs and walk away. They hid and have a great time giggling when I can't find them.
