I received this handy safety gadget all in one device this week from Buy Green. Wow talk about jam packed full of features and options to keep you safe.
I am loving the sound of this device, I'll never run out of power while its on me and I don't have to plug in a single thing to use it.
These are the features and options I love about this radio :
- Comes with both Am/Fm built in radio
- NOAA weatherband all 7 channels
- Built in 3 White LED Light Source as well as flashing red LED.
- 4 ways to power up this device - A hand crank that will charge up the ni-mh battery, takes 3AAA batteries, can be powered via AC adapter and solar power which will also charge up the ni-mh battery.
- usb cell phone charger
- headphone output
- weighs a minimal 1 pound, great for taking it with you anywhere you go.
This is one heck of a great safety device for anyone anywhere. I listened to it outside yesterday and the sound was sharp, crystal clear and the power lasted for many many hours. It also has a built in clock, alarm and lighted display for easy reading at night. When I did run out of power I tried the hand held crank, wound it up and voila.. it powered right up again. Worked like a charm.

I had one similar. It was solar powered or crank but it broke. I really miss it here in Nova Scotia we lose out electricity frequently during the winter.
